The Long March-5, with a maximum payload capacity of ~25,000 kilograms to LEO and ~14,000 kilograms to GTO，is part of a new generation of China launch vehicles that aims to replace the older series of the Long March family, known as Long March 2, 3 and 4. The Long March-5 launch vehicle, with a diameter of 5 meters and a height of 56.97 meters, is using non-toxic and non-polluting propellant, and its lift off mass is 867 tones. It will be applied to China’s Space Station construction and the lunar exploration program in the future.
