At 16:00 May 21, 2023 BJT, Long March-2C (LM-2C) Launch Vehicle blasted off from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center (JSLC), sending MSS-1-A/B Satellites, and rideshare satellite of LUOJIA-2A Satellite into the predetermined orbit. The rideshare mission of LUOJIA-2A Satellite is contracted by China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC), a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC).

LUOJIA-2A Satellite is designed and manufactured by Wuhan University. The satellite will be applied to verify the new system of radar technology and navigation enhancement technology of SAR remote sensing. The satellite can conduct in-orbit verification of new modes and new system in-orbit verification including Ka-band imaging, multi-angle three-dimensional information acquisition, video SAR, etc.

LM-2C is a two-stage liquid launch vehicle developed and manufactured by China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT), also a subsidiary of CASC. LM-2C is designed for LEO and SSO orbit remote sensing satellite launch mission, and has already successfully performed 69 flights.

CGWIC is a commercial organization authorized by Chinese government to provide commercial launch services, satellite systems and to carry out space technology cooperation. Under the guidance of CASC, CGWIC can provide fast, stable and reliable "one-stop" quality services to both international and domestic customers by introducing the "Long March Express" launch services brand.

Since the Long March series of launch vehicles successfully entered the international market in the 1990s, CGWIC has completed 79 commercial launch missions for 72 international and 74 domestic satellites. In addition, CGWIC has conducted 46 rideshare missions, sending 27 international payloads and 117 domestic payloads into orbits.
