At 6:57 Beijing Time on July 16, 2022, SuperView Neo 2-01 and -02 satellites were launched successfully from Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center (TSLC) aboard a Long March-2C (LM-2C) launch vehicle. China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC), a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science & Technology Corporation (CASC), provides the in-orbit delivery of SuperView Neo 2-01 and 02 satellites to China Siwei Surveying and Mapping Technology Co. Ltd. (China Siwei), a leading company provides remote sensing satellite data and geospatial information services in China.

SuperView Neo 2-01 and -02 are designed and developed by DFH Satellite Co., Ltd. of China Academy of Space Technology (CAST). The satellites mainly serve emerging markets such as urban security, three-dimensional scene, urban information modeling and digital agriculture, as well as traditional fields such as land surveying and mapping, disaster prevention and mitigation, maritime surveillance, etc., they provide users with time-sensitive and high-performance spatiotemporal information services.

LM-2C is a liquid two-stage launch vehicle designed and manufactured by China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT). This is the 64th launch of LM-2C.

CGWIC is a commercial organization authorized by Chinese government to provide commercial launch services, satellite systems and to carry out space technology cooperation. With the support of CASC, CGWIC can provide fast, stable and reliable "one-stop" quality services to both international and domestic customers.

Since Long March launch vehicles entered the international market in 1990, CGWIC has completed 72 commercial launches for 69 international satellites (including 12 IOD communication satellites and 3 IOD remote sensing satellites) and 51 domestic satellites. In addition, CGWIC has conducted 43 rideshare missions, sending 27 international payloads (including 1 IOD remote sensing satellite) and 102 domestic payloads into orbits.

This launch marks the 427th flight of the Long March fleet.
