At 11:03 June 11, 2021 BJT, Long March-2D (LM-2D) Launch Vehicle blasted off from Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center (TSLC), sending main satellite BEIJING-3, as well as three secondary passengers HISEA-2, YANGWANG-1 & TKSY01-TJ into predetermined orbit, achieving a complete success.

The launch services for the four satellites are prime-contracted by China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC), a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC).

BEIJING-3 is a high-performance commercial remote sensing satellite of Twenty First Century Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd., developed by DFH Satellite Co., Ltd., which can provide high-resolution remote sensing data and information products for the global market.

HISEA-2 satellite is an optical remote sensing satellite with marine ecological environment as the observation target, which is led by Xiamen University and developed by DFH Satellite Co., Ltd. YANGWANG-1 satellite is the first domestic commercial astronomical satellite in optical band of Origin Space Co., Ltd..TKSY01-TJ satellite is a remote sensing satellite of Space Engineering University.

LM-2D Launch Vehicle is the liquid two-stage launcher designed and manufactured by Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology (SAST), also a subsidiary of CASC. The designed capacity of LM-2D is 1200kg for 700km sun synchronous orbit. This mission is the 52nd launch of LM-2D.

CGWIC is a commercial organization authorized by Chinese government to provide commercial launch services, satellite systems and to carry out space technology cooperation. Under the guidance of CASC, CGWIC can provide fast, stable and reliable "one-stop" quality services to both international and domestic customers by introducing the "Long March Express" launch services brand.

Since Long March launch vehicles entered the international market in 1990, CGWIC has completed 52 international commercial launches, launched 69 international commercial satellites, including 11 communications satellites and 4 remote sensing satellites in orbit delivery. CGWIC also performed 11 domestic commercial launches, sent 21 domestic commercial satellites. In addition, CGWIC has provided 34 piggyback services sending 58 domestic payloads and 27 international payloads into orbits.
This launch marks the 373th flight of the Long March fleet.
