At 11:20 April 27, 2021 BJT, Long March-6 (LM-6) launch vehicle blasted off from Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center ( TSLC), sending three main satellites QILU-1, QILU-4, and FOSHAN-1, as well as six secondary passengers HS-1, TIANQI-9, Origin Space Neo-01, Tai King Ⅱ 01, Golden Bauhinia N1-01 and Golden Bauhinia N1-02 into predetermined orbit, announcing a complete success of the first Long March commercial rideshare launch mission.

The launch services for the nine satellites are prime-contracted by China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC), a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC). This mission also marks the first time that CGWIC innovatively provides highly reliable and cost-effective rideshare launch services to various satellites of different customers in the way of commercial rideshare mode.

QILU-1 and QILU-4 are two remote sensing satellites owned by Shandong Institutes of Industrial Technology. FOSHAN-1 satellite is an optical remote sensing satellite developed by Cultivate Space Technology Co. for Jihua Laboratory.

HS-1 is an optical remote sensing satellite developed by Hunan Hangsheng Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. TIANQI-9 is a low-orbit Internet of things communications satellite, Origin Space NEO-01 Satellite is a scientific research and technology verification satellite, both are developed by Shanghai ASES Spaceflight Technology Co. Ltd. Tai King Ⅱ 01 is an optical remote sensing satellite developed by Beijing MinoSpace Technology Co., Ltd.. Golden Bauhinia N1-01 and Golden Bauhinia N1-02 are two remote sensing satellites developed by Beijing ZeroG Space Technology Co., Ltd.

LM-6 is the new generation cryogenic liquid small-sized launch vehicle, designed and manufactured by Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology, also a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. The designed capacity of LM-6 is 1 ton for 700km sun synchronous orbit. It can be used for dedicated, multi-satellites and rideshare launches, and has the advantages of moderate capacity, large fairing envelope, short delivery period and dedicated launch pad LM-6 has already successfully performed five launch missions.

CGWIC is a commercial organization authorized by Chinese government to provide commercial launch services, satellite systems and to carry out space technology cooperation, with 40 years of experience and a professional team. Under the guidance of CASC, CGWIC can provide fast, stable and reliable "one-stop" quality services to both international and domestic customers. In the context of the vigorous development of commercial aerospace, to support and meet the requirement of the commercial launch services market, CGWIC introduced the "long March Express" launch service brand. This LM-6 mission is the first long March rideshare launch services provided by CGWIC under the "long March Express" brand.

Since Long March launch vehicle entered the international market in 1990, CGWIC has completed 52 international commercial launches, launched 69 international commercial satellites, including 11 communications satellites and 4 remote sensing satellites in orbit delivery. CGWIC also performed 11 domestic commercial launches, sent 23 domestic commercial satellites. In addition, CGWIC has provided 32 piggyback services sending 54 domestic payloads and 27 international payloads into orbits.

This launch marks the 366th flight of the Long March fleet.
