LM-2D successfully launches land exploration satellite-04 from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center yesterday.

The satellite will be mainly used for remote sensing exploration of land resources, developed by the China Academy of Space Technology (CAST), a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC).

The LM-2D launch vehicle is developed by Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology (SAST), also the subsidiary of CASC.

The launch was the 268th mission of the Long March launch vehicle family.
