The Long March-5 launch vehicle, scheduled to be launched later this year, started its transportation to the Wenchang satellite launch center of Hainan Province today.

The Long March-5 launch vehicle, with a diameter of 5 meters and 4 boosters (with a diameter of 3.35 meters), using non-toxic and non-polluting propellant, is China's largest launch vehicle. Its lift off mass is more than 1000 tones and it can carry up to 14 tons to GTO and 25 tons to LEO.
